Besides hot, hot, hot car races and racing stars, Booker T. will perform a 30-minute mini-concert in front of the main grandstand; Emmy Rossum will sing the national anthem; Airshows America’s Patriots Jet Team Air Show will fly over for 20 minutes in 1983 L-39 Ex-Military jets; and the Red Bull Helicopter stunt show will feature Charles “Chuck” P. Aaron, the only pilot licensed to do aerobatics in a helicopter, Red Bull Skydivers, and U.S. military F-15 fighter jets and other planes overhead. Booker T. Jones, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, and Fiver Brown headline the NASCAR Celebration race-day concert at the B.R. Cohn Amphiteatre on Saturday, June 23. Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer Booker T (formerly of Booker T. and the MGs) lights up the afternoon in the middle of B.R. Cohn’s vineyards and olive orchards; co-presented by music, wine and olive oil entrepreneur Bruce Cohn and Infineon Raceway. Proceeds will be divided between B.R. Cohn Charities and Speedway Charities. Booker T has recorded with Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Boz Scaggs, Barbra Streisand, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, and George Harrison.
