Sonoma Jazz+ world-class jazz festival features LeAnn Rimes and the Robert Cray Band on Thursday, Smokey Robinson and Michael McDonald Friday, Harry Connick, Jr. and His Big Band on Saturday, and the one and only Tony Bennett Sunday evening, Memorial Day weekend, May 24-27 at Sonoma’s Field of Dreams. Wine & Song around Sonoma Plaza Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27, features wine, live jazz bands and food at The Red Grape, Château Sonoma, El Dorado Kitchen, Sonoma Meritâge, Ledson Hotel Harmony Lounge, Swiss Hotel and Sonoma Court Shops courtyard. $50 ticket admits to seven venues, 12 wine tastes, four food tastings, and seven bands. “Wrongful Doings at Woeful Ranch,” written by one-time Ronald McDonald and current vintner Squire Fridell and directed by Kate Kennedy as part of Dunbar School’s Performing Arts Project under the oaks at Dunbar School’s Rosemary Haver Outdoor Stage, put on by the 5th grade class. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets $10 adults, $5 children 12 and under. Doors open one hour before show, rain or shine. Bring picnic and blanket, some refreshments available for purchase.
